Ditch the disposable fuses and upgrade to automatic reset thermal circuit breakers for your 12V systems. Available in 5A, 10A, 15A, 20A, 40A, and 60A versions, these breakers are the size of standard two-prong automotive fuse breakers and plug into fuse sockets or panel mounts. When a circuit draws excessive current, the internal bimetal strip heats and trips the breaker, interrupting the power. Once the fault is cleared and the device cools down, the breaker automatically resets and restores power – no need to physically replace a fuse. This makes them excellent for circuits prone to momentary overloads or for critical systems where maintaining continuity (after a short delay) is desirable. Each breaker includes a removable water-resistant cover for the terminals, which is particularly useful in marine or off-road environments to prevent corrosion or shorts (often they are used in conjunction with certain waterproof fuse holders or panels). The breakers have a compact form (approximately 31 x 14.6 x 35 mm) and 2 blade-style terminals, making them compatible with many automotive fuse boxes or standalone holders. They are ignition protected and spark-proof, suitable for installation near fuel environments. Use these auto-reset breakers to protect circuits for bilge pumps, wipers, headlights, or fridge motors – especially where occasional current spikes occur. They will cycle off and on until the issue is resolved, protecting your wiring without ever needing a fuse swap. With these resettable breakers, maintenance is simplified and downtime is minimized.
