End Fitting for Handrail (Bulwark Mount) – AISI 316 Stainless Steel

This end handrail fitting (sometimes called a bulwark base or railing terminator) is specifically crafted to support the end-point of a handrail/guardrail along a boat’s side or other mounting surface. Constructed from AISI 316 stainless steel, it thrives in salty, humid conditions without weakening or discoloring, ensuring a long service life. The base features a flat mounting flange that attaches to a vertical surface (such as the inside of a bulwark, coaming, or cabin side) with countersunk screw holes for a flush finish. Once installed, it holds the railing tube at a fixed angle (typically horizontal rail ending into the fitting) and prevents any movement or rattling.
