Nylon "T" Connector for Water & Fuel Hoses – Ø10–20 mm
The nylon T-connector is a versatile fitting for connecting three hoses in boat systems. It enables you to branch a flow at a right angle or combine two flows into one, depending on your needs. Constructed from tough nylon plastic, this connector resists the corrosive effects of fuel and saltwater, making it a reliable choice for both fuel and water lines.
The T-shape allows convenient hose routing at 90 degrees – useful, for example, when adding an auxiliary fuel line to a main line, creating a bypass or drain, or connecting two devices to one source. The range of sizes (from 10 mm to 20 mm) covers almost every scenario: from small gasoline hoses on portable tanks to large hoses for water supply, bilge, or ballast systems.
Installing the T-connector is straightforward: insert each leg of the “T” into the respective hoses. The barbed edges on the fitting help grip the hose interior, and securing with hose clamps ensures it won’t leak or pull out even under pressure. The nylon material is flexible enough to ensure a good seal, yet rigid enough to not deform under hot fluids or extended fuel exposure.
- Ø10 mm (Code 03190-1): Suitable for small fuel hoses (~8–10 mm ID) commonly found on portable tanks and small engines. Also handy for thin water lines on gauges or small pumps.
- Ø12 mm (Code 03190-2): A general-purpose size for medium fuel lines or water systems. Ideal when connecting hoses to add sensors or branches in a cooling system.
- Ø14 mm (Code 03190-3): Good for mid-sized lines – e.g., splitting a radiator/cooler hose into two branches or dividing flow in onboard freshwater plumbing.
- Ø16 mm (Code 03190-4): A frequently used diameter on larger engines and systems. Can branch a thick fuel hose or merge two lines in a coolant circuit.
- Ø18 mm (Code 03190-5): A large size suitable for marine plumbing, drainage lines, or tank venting. Allows high flow with minimal restriction.
- Ø20 mm (Code 03190-6): The biggest size – used for main water lines (e.g., a primary pump outlet, ballast systems) or specialized fuel applications requiring a large hose diameter.
