This series of electric boat winches offers a solution for every size of vessel – from small runabouts and RIBs to larger cruisers – with models covering pulling capacities of 1134 kg, 1588 kg, and 2400 kg. Each winch is equipped with a powerful motor (600 W on the smallest 12V model, 900 W on the mid-range 12V model, and 1200 W on the largest model, which comes in both 12V and 24V versions). This means that for the heaviest boats, you have the option to use a 24-volt system, reducing current draw and improving performance under load. Control is via a convenient wired remote (approximately 5 meters long), allowing you to stand clear and monitor the boat as you winch it on or off the trailer. The winches feature forward, reverse, and idle (free-spool) modes, giving you the ability not only to pull the boat in but also to pay out the cable in a controlled manner when launching into the water. Safety is a top priority: built-in circuit breakers automatically cut power in case of overload, protecting the motor from damage. Additionally, each winch is fitted with a dynamic brake and mechanical brake that hold the drum steady as soon as you stop the motor, preventing the boat from sliding back. The housings are built for outdoor duty – they are weather-resistant and shield the internal components from corrosion. The included cable is galvanized steel (approximately 4.8–6.3 mm thick depending on model) and about 15 m in length, plenty for most trailers and slipways.
Variants and usage recommendations:
- 1134 kg model (12V, 600 W): Suited for small to medium boats – recommended for boats up to around 5 m (16 ft) long or roughly 1000 kg in weight. Ideal for hauling small motorboats, fishing boats, RIBs, as well as jet skis. This compact unit provides ample power while drawing less current.
- 1588 kg model (12V, 900 W): Designed for mid-sized boats – about 5 to 6.5 m (17–21 ft) in length, or up to ~1.5–1.6 tons. An excellent choice for heavier RIBs, mid-sized powerboats and day cruisers. It offers a great balance of higher pulling strength and convenience, running on a standard 12V system.
- 2400 kg model (1200 W, available in 12V and 24V versions): The most powerful winch of the series, suitable for larger boats and yachts up to around 7–8 m (22–26 ft) long or weighing about 2–2.4 tons. We recommend the 24V variant for professional or frequent use, as it reduces current strain and maximizes efficiency. This model is ideal when maximum muscle and reliability are needed for big boats (e.g., large RIBs, rescue vessels, sizable leisure craft).
Regardless of the model, all winches in this series dramatically simplify the process of loading and launching your boat – a task that usually requires significant effort becomes push-button easy. They improve safety (less risk of mishaps on the ramp) and protect your boat and trailer from abrupt movements. We advise professional installation and the use of a suitable battery with adequate capacity, especially for the larger winches, as well as regular checks of electrical connections and occasional lubrication of moving parts to keep everything running smoothly.
