Danforth Fluke Anchor – Hot-Dip Galvanized (Lightweight High-Hold Anchor)

The Danforth anchor is one of the most trusted lightweight anchors, known for its high holding power-to-weight ratio. It has a design featuring a pair of wide flat flukes hinged to a long shank, and a stabilizing crossbar (stock) at the crown. Upon dropping, the flukes tilt down into the bottom and bury deeply, creating a very secure grip, especially in soft bottoms like sand or mud. Once set, a properly sized Danforth anchor can withstand significant pull forces, keeping your boat safely moored.
