The 190 x 60 mm side roller is the largest support roller model, designed to meet the demands of very large boats and yachts. With its impressive 190 mm diameter, this roller offers extremely smooth rolling under heavy hulls – the large diameter reduces friction and allows the boat to glide more easily onto the trailer. The 60 mm width provides a stable contact surface that supports a significant portion of the hull side, contributing to even weight distribution. The roller has a 17 mm inner diameter, matching standard shaft sizes, which makes it straightforward to integrate into existing setups.

Both white polyurethane and black rubber versions of this roller are available. The white version is made from high-quality polyurethane, which is hard, wear-resistant, and will not discolor the hull’s surface – a crucial factor for luxury yachts or professional vessels where maintaining a pristine appearance is important. The black version uses reinforced marine-grade rubber, capable of absorbing enormous loads and impacts without damage. It offers a bit of cushioning to protect the hull when encountering bumps on the road. Both types are engineered for long-term use in marine environments, without cracking, warping, or degrading.

When installing 190x60 mm rollers on a trailer, they are typically used in pairs on either side of the trailer at the points of highest load – usually near the midship and aft sections of the boat where the hull is heaviest. These rollers keep the boat absolutely upright and prevent any lateral movement or twisting of the hull during retrieval. When loading the boat, the large diameter ensures an easy start to rolling, even when a substantial portion of the boat’s weight is already resting on the rollers. This reduces strain on the winch and frame, and also protects the hull from pressure points.

Use Cases and Recommendations:

  • Intended for very large boats and yachts (approximately 7–9 meters or more) that require top-tier side support during transport
  • White roller: recommended for high-end yachts and boats with delicate finishes – it won’t cause smudges and keeps the hull looking like new; black roller: excellent for workboats, heavy vessels, and maximum load situations where ultimate durability is needed
  • Use 190x60 mm rollers at strategic positions on your trailer – where the load is greatest. They can be combined with smaller side rollers toward the bow or with keel rollers underneath as part of a comprehensive support system
  • Ensure that the mounting brackets and trailer frame can handle the additional load from these large rollers. Inspect the rollers regularly for wear – despite their extreme toughness, replacing them when necessary will ensure the safety of your boat and equipment
