Single Stainless Block with PVC Sheave – 2 Sizes (for 8mm / 10mm Rope)

This single block combines a stainless steel body with a tough PVC plastic sheave, offering a great balance between performance and price. The stainless steel side plates provide rigidity and protect the sheave, so the block can be safely loaded without bending. The PVC sheave is resistant to wear and will not corrode, also contributing to the unit’s light weight. Two sizes are available to cover common rope dimensions:

• The smaller block (code 01651-25) measures about 56x22mm and is intended for ropes up to 8mm. Its maximum load capacity is roughly 500kg, making it ideal for small boats, windsurf rigs, or dinghies, as well as flag halyards or light sheets on day-sailers.
• The larger block (01651-35) at about 85x39mm handles ropes up to 10mm, with a max load around 800kg. It suits slightly bigger vessels or uses such as control lines that do not undergo extreme strain – for example, flag halyards, utility lines, or light lifting tackle on board.

Installation is straightforward: attach the block through the top eye using a shackle or bolt at the desired location. These blocks are especially useful where you want to save weight or cost without sacrificing essential corrosion resistance.
