12V Red Port Side Navigation Light – Confident Signaling & Protection

This red port-side navigation light is a crucial safety component for your vessel during nighttime operations. The red beam covers 112.5° and marks the port (left) side of the boat in accordance with international regulations (i.e., opposite the green starboard light). Intended for boats and yachts up to 20m, it ensures that your vessel will be correctly recognized by other skippers when passing or crossing paths. Stainless mounting screws are provided, and the base of the housing has pre-drilled holes to make the process quick and secure. The low-profile design and choice of white or black housing let you match the unit to your vessel’s style – the white version blends with light-colored hulls, while the black offers a modern, tech look.

From a safety perspective, this red sidelight works in tandem with the green starboard light to give other mariners a complete picture of your boat’s orientation. The red color signals to oncoming vessels that they are viewing your port side – critical information when determining right-of-way. Tip: Ensure that the red and green lights are aligned on a horizontal plane and nothing (such as rigging or accessories) obstructs them, so they perform optimally.
