This marine macerator pump efficiently grinds solid toilet waste with its built-in dual stainless-steel cutting blades. It is self-priming, allowing flexible installation below or above the holding tank, and quickly evacuates waste at 44.1 L/min, reducing the risk of clogs. The pump is designed to empty marine toilet contents into a holding tank or pump the holding tank out overboard (where permitted). When installed at the inlet of a holding tank, it also reduces the amount of water needed for flushing by macerating solids into fine particles.

Two versions are available: a 12V model for the standard electrical systems on smaller and mid-sized boats, and a 24V model for larger yachts or commercial vessels with 24V systems. Both versions deliver the same high flow, with the 24V unit drawing roughly half the current (~6A vs 12A). The pump should not be run dry to avoid overheating the impeller, and all hose connections should be airtight to maintain prime and efficiency.

Usage and recommendations:

  • 12V model (03803-12) – Ideal for most recreational boats up to ~40 ft (≈12 m) running on 12V DC. Commonly used on motorboats, sailing yachts, and even RVs equipped with a marine toilet on 12V
  • 24V model (03803-24) – Recommended for larger vessels (above ~40 ft) or commercial boats with 24V DC systems. Provides identical performance while placing less load on the electrical circuit
  • Ensure inlet and outlet hoses are tightly clamped and leak-free to maintain suction and prevent any waste seepage. Airtight plumbing maximizes pumping efficiency
  • Avoid allowing hard foreign objects (rags, sanitary products) into the toilet. While the pump’s blades effectively shred organic waste and toilet tissue, non-biological items could jam or damage the cutter
  • After use, it’s good practice to flush the system with clean water to clear any remaining waste and reduce odors, helping extend the pump’s service life
