Fire-Resistant Blanket (Standard, Hard Case)

This fire-resistant blanket (standard model) is a cost-effective safety device to extinguish incipient fires. It is made from the same type of flameproof fiberglass fabric as our certified model, but packaged in a simple hard case with pull tabs. The blanket can be quickly pulled out and thrown over a fire to suffocate it. It’s excellent for kitchen grease fires, campfires gone awry, or engine spark fires. Two convenient sizes are available: 90 × 90 cm for smaller fires, and 120 × 120 cm for slightly larger fires. Each blanket is folded in a flexible vinyl pouch that can be mounted or stored in an accessible location. The fabric is white, which helps you see soot or used spots to replace the blanket if it’s ever deployed. These blankets are tested to withstand high heat and are electrically non-conductive, so they can be used on live electrical equipment fires (small scale). While not delivered in a hard case, the soft-pack blankets still meet essential fire safety requirements and carry CE marking for basic compliance (they are made to the same material standard, but intended for general-purpose use).
