Lifeguard Rescue Buoy (Torpedo Float, with Strap)

This professional lifeguard buoy is a torpedo-shaped rescue device used by beach and pool lifeguards worldwide. It measures 68 cm in length and approx. 22–24 cm in width, featuring molded handles on the sides for victims to grab onto. The buoy is bright red-orange for high visibility even in choppy water. It comes with a heavy-duty adjustable shoulder strap and a tether rope (approx. 3 m) that connects to the buoy, allowing the lifeguard to tow it behind or push it to a victim. Our buoy is available in two configurations: Standard (hollow) – made of HDPE or similar plastic, lightweight and easy to maneuver, and HPPU foam-filled – the same outer shell but filled with polyurethane foam for added strength and buoyancy (slightly heavier). The foam-filled version (code 00532-2) will not take on water even if cracked, whereas the hollow version (code 00532) is lighter for faster swimming. Both variants have identical dimensions (L68×W22 cm) and include the attachment strap and line. The smooth surface and torpedo design of the buoy allow it to be towed through water with minimal resistance, enabling quick rescues.
