This single block with integrated cam cleat by Finmax brings exceptional convenience to sail control by combining a swiveling pulley and a cam cleat in one unit. Instead of running a sheet through a block and then to a separate cleat, this product lets you trim and lock off the line all with one hand and one device.

The block is part of the Speed Hard series – made from the same tough composite materials (reinforced polyamide) that can withstand high loads and long-term exposure to saltwater. The swivel mount on top allows the block and cleat to rotate freely, ensuring that regardless of boat angle or sheet direction, the line enters the cam jaws at the optimal angle. For example, on performance dinghies or day sailers, this block with cleat can be installed at the cockpit floor or on the boom end, allowing the skipper to quickly sheet in or dump the mainsail. It’s also excellent for controlling gennaker/spinnaker sheets on boats where a quick lock-off is needed.
• Large (code 04976, for 6-12 mm rope): Handles up to ~1400 kg load. Suitable for larger yachts (7-8+ m) as a primary mainsheet block with cleat. This enables the crew to secure the main sheet at the desired tension without needing an additional cleat on the cockpit – ideal for cruising yachts where simplifying deck gear increases safety and convenience. The large model can also be used on catamarans and keelboats for spinnaker sheet control: even under heavy load, a quick upward flick of the line releases it, making trimming easy and precise.
