This concentrate is extremely versatile – it can be used on gelcoat and painted surfaces, aluminum parts, PVC fabrics (inflatable boats), rubber, plastics, vinyl upholstery, canvas, and more. • Dilution: As a concentrate, the product must be diluted with fresh water before use. For very heavy dirt, use approximately a 1:5 ratio (1 part cleaner to 5 parts water). For normal soiling or lighter grime, dilute about 1:10. This means one bottle will last for multiple cleaning sessions.
• Usage: Apply the diluted solution with a soft brush, sponge, or using a spray bottle onto the dirty surface. Let it sit for a few minutes (especially on very grimy areas or set-in stains), but do not allow it to dry completely. Then gently scrub and rinse thoroughly with water. Repeat if necessary.
• Applications: C2 is excellent for cleaning black streaks on hull sides (from rain runoff), greasy deposits in the bilge or engine compartment, yellowing around vents, stains on vinyl seats, as well as washing sails and canvas covers to remove mildew and dirt.
• Safety: Do not use the cleaner on glass surfaces (mirrors, portlights) or on natural leather, as it may damage them. Use specialized cleaners for those materials. Work with gloves and ensure good ventilation, especially in enclosed spaces like cabins or bilges.
• Season prep: Sea-Line C2 Concentrate Cleaner is an ideal choice for deep cleaning before the boating season. It will easily remove all accumulated grime from the off-season or after winter storage. Following such a deep clean, it’s recommended to seal and protect surfaces – for example, wash with C3 Shampoo with Wax for shine or apply a protective wax for gelcoat.
