Italian Reinforced Fuel Hose – PVC & Rubber, 8 mm (3 bar / 10 bar)

Code:
52.732.10

Premium Italian 8 mm fuel hose available in two types: black PVC hose with fiber braid (3 bar working pressure) and black rubber hose with reinforced yarn (10 bar working pressure). Compatible with unleaded petrol and diesel, resistant to wear and cracking:

  • PVC version: co-extruded anti-gasoline PVC with synthetic braid and black outer layer – flexible and lightweight, intended for standard fuel systems
  • Rubber version: solid black rubber with high-tensile fiber reinforcement – withstands higher pressure and harsher conditions
  • Both types resist unleaded gasoline, diesel, and ethanol-blend fuels; won’t harden or leak over time
  • Outer diameter ~14 mm (PVC) and ~15 mm (rubber); easy to install with standard clamps, no fuel vapor seepage or odor
  • Made in Italy to high standards – ensures safe fuel delivery and long service life for the hose

This Italian 8 mm reinforced fuel hose comes in two variants to meet different needs in your boat’s fuel system:

  • PVC version: Made from co-extruded PVC specially formulated to resist gasoline. It has an embedded nylon fiber mesh for strength. The inner layer is smooth and fuel-resistant, and the outer layer is black PVC that’s abrasion-resistant. This version is lighter and highly flexible, which makes it easy to route through tight confines. Its working pressure is about 3 bar, suitable for most standard fuel setups (e.g., carbureted engines or fuel vent lines).
  • Rubber version: Made from solid black synthetic rubber with an internal explosion-proof braid of high-strength yarn. This hose is sturdier and slightly heavier; it’s intended for scenarios requiring higher pressure or extra robustness – for instance, in fuel-injected systems or diesel engine lines. The rubber hose’s working pressure is up to 10 bar, giving it ample overhead for virtually any onboard application (from primer lines to main feed lines).

Both types are suitable for unleaded gasoline and diesel, as well as ethanol-blended fuels (E10, etc.). They won’t degrade from the fuel and prevent vapor permeation through the walls (important to reduce fuel smell in the bilge). The outer diameter is approximately 14 mm for the PVC hose and 15 mm for the rubber – meaning standard clamps and fittings for 8 mm hose will fit both without issue.

Made in Italy, these hoses are built to a high quality standard and comply with marine fuel system regulations. The PVC version is ideal for fixed tank hookups, vent lines, or smaller engines where light weight and flexibility are valued. The rubber version is preferred for primary lines to the engine, where vibrations, temperature, and possibly higher pressure demand maximum durability.

When installing, ensure you choose the right type for each section of the fuel line. Use appropriate hose clamps and avoid sharp bends, especially with the rubber hose (which is a bit stiffer). Cut the hose with a sharp tool to get a clean end. After connecting, test the system – both hose types will provide uninterrupted fuel flow to your engine, and their reinforced construction yields a long service life even under the harsh conditions of marine use.
