Mercury/Mariner Female Fuel Connector 9.8 mm (Engine Side)

This 9.8 mm female fuel connector is designed for the engine side of the fuel system on Mercury and Mariner outboards. In many Mercury/Mariner models (especially pre-1998), a female connector is mounted on the engine itself, into which the fuel hose’s male connector plugs. If your engine requires this type, this product is the perfect spare or replacement. It installs easily – typically by a hose connection or threaded fitting to the engine’s fuel pump – and provides the standard quick-connect interface for attaching the fuel hose.

The connector features a ~9.8 mm barb, matching roughly a 3/8" hose inner diameter. This is typical of fuel lines on older or higher-horsepower Mercury/Mariner models where greater fuel flow is needed.
