For instance, mount this grille on a battery box lid to vent hydrogen gas, or on a head (bathroom) door in a compact boat to provide constant fresh air. It’s also useful for galley cabinets or wardrobe closets on smaller vessels to prevent mustiness.
• Large Size (32 cm): Ideal for engine rooms, large storage lazarettes, or galley areas on bigger boats and yachts. Most powerboats and sailboats over ~7–8 meters can use the large grille for the main engine compartment vents, aiding in cooling and fume extraction. It’s also excellent for salon areas that need extra ventilation.

• Installation Tip: Use stainless steel screws for fastening to maintain full corrosion resistance. If mounting on a horizontal surface, apply a thin bead of marine sealant under the screw heads or flange to prevent any water seepage around the fasteners.
