The Shade Master is a premium 4-bow foldable boat bimini top, built entirely from stainless steel and equipped with top-quality canvas. It offers maximum shade and durability, ideal for larger boats and RIBs. Key features:

  • Robust AISI 316 frame: Four bows made of polished Ø25 mm stainless steel tubing with all stainless steel fittings – no plastic components, for exceptional strength and longevity.
  • Extended coverage area: ~2.55 m front-to-back depth with four arches, providing greater shade coverage over the cockpit compared to standard 2- or 3-bow biminis. Stands ~140 cm high, comfortable for standing underneath.
  • Marine canvas (acrylic/PVC) – blue: Waterproof and UV-resistant fabric in navy blue that shields against sun and rain. The fabric is reinforced at the seams and comes with a storage boot.
  • Foldable & removable: The bimini easily folds forward or aft (scissor-style) when not in use. A zippered boot is included to cover the folded top for protection and a neat appearance.
  • Multiple width options: Available in models for mounting widths from ~175 cm up to ~270 cm (adjustable deck sliders), making it suitable for various boats – from smaller RIBs to larger yachts.

The Shade Master is a top-of-the-line foldable bimini top, designed for boat owners who demand maximum reliability, style, and functionality. It features a four-bow design – a configuration that provides significantly greater shade coverage and stability. This bimini is particularly well-suited for medium to large boats where a broader shaded area over the cockpit or seating is desired.

Frame and Construction: Every component of the Shade Master’s frame is made from high-grade AISI 316 stainless steel. The four main bows are Ø25 mm (1 inch) in diameter, which is thicker than standard aluminum biminis – this provides exceptional rigidity and resistance to vibration and wind. Instead of plastic hinges and connections, all hinges, joints, and fittings are metal (stainless steel). This greatly increases the load the structure can handle and ensures longevity: there is no risk of cracking or aging that you might get with plastic parts. The all-metal hardware also gives an elegant look and confidence at high speeds.

4-bow design – advantages: The four-bow configuration means the canvas is spread across four curved supports, yielding a canopy depth of about 2.55 m (8’4”). That is significantly more than typical 2 or 3-bow tops, which usually cover 1.8–2.0 m. As a result, the Shade Master shades a larger portion of your boat – for example, from the front of the console all the way to the aft bench on many fishing boats or RIBs. The height of the bimini is around 1.40 m (55”), allowing most people to stand under it without stooping and providing good headroom clearance. The four support legs (two front, two rear) hold the top very steady, distributing the load evenly. This is especially important on bigger boats that go fast or encounter strong winds – the Shade Master is engineered to withstand such conditions when properly installed and tensioned.

Canvas and accessories: The package includes a high-quality canopy made from acrylic marine fabric with a vinyl/PVC coating. The fabric is heavy and dense (approximately 600 g/m² with coating), making it virtually waterproof and very tear-resistant. The acrylic base cloth is known for its UV resistance – it retains its color (a classic navy blue) for years without significant fading, and it won’t become brittle or crack from sun exposure. The underside of the canvas is reinforced at wear points where it contacts the frame. The kit also comes with a storage boot – a zippered cover that encloses the bimini when it’s folded. The boot protects the canvas from dirt and UV rays while not in use, and gives a tidy appearance (like a stowed package) to the folded top. All necessary mounting hardware is included: stainless steel deck mounts for horizontal or side mounting (depending on model), sliding tracks for fine width adjustment, quick-release pins, and tension straps (if applicable for the front support).

Folding and removal: Despite its substantial construction, the Shade Master can be handled easily by one person. When deployed, it’s secured with either telescopic support poles or straps (depending on the model) to hold it taut during operation. To fold it down, you release these supports/straps and simply push the bimini either forward or aft (scissor-style), and the four bows collapse together. In the folded position, you can secure the bimini against the rails (many boats have clips for this) and slip on the boot. If you wish to remove it entirely (for winter storage or transport), the bimini detaches via quick-release pins from its deck mounts and the whole frame can be lifted off the boat in a matter of minutes.

Sizes and width options: The Shade Master covers a wide range of boat beam widths. Six models are available, covering the following mounting width ranges:

  • Model 46.915.10: adjustable width 175–190 cm (Depth 255 cm, Height 140 cm) – for small boats and inflatables around 5–5.5 m (18 ft).
  • Model 46.915.11: width 195–210 cm (Depth 255, Height 140 cm) – for boats ~6 m (20 ft), such as open boats or small cabin boats.
  • Model 46.915.12: width 215–230 cm (Depth 255, Height 140 cm) – for mid-sized boats ~6.5–7 m (22–24 ft).
  • Model 46.915.13: width 235–250 cm (Depth 255, Height 140 cm) – for RIBs and cruisers ~7.5–8 m (25–26 ft).
  • Model 46.915.14: width 255–270 cm (Depth 255, Height 140 cm) – for larger boats ~8.5–9+ m (28–30 ft).
  • Model 46.915.15: width ~275–290 cm (Depth 255, Height 140 cm) – for big yachts or catamarans 10+ m (33 ft and up).

All models share the same canopy length (coverage front-to-back ~2.55 m) and height (~1.40 m); the difference is solely in the supported width, which can be adjusted via sliding deck tracks or variable angle of the legs during installation.

No matter which variant you choose, you get a high-class bimini top that will enhance comfort on board, protecting you and your equipment from sun and rain, and will stand the test of time. The Shade Master is engineered to outperform its competitors – with a stronger frame, larger coverage, and a refined appearance that adds value to your boat.
