The New Edge Mizar deck shower offers an upgraded onboard rinsing solution, combining a compact form with push-button water control. Its housing is made of UV-resistant ASA plastic in white, built to withstand intense sun and marine conditions. The key feature is the Mizar shower head, crafted from chromed brass and equipped with a push-button. This mechanism only lets water flow when pressed, saving water and preventing waste. The included 2.5 m hose (reinforced PVC) provides ample reach to rinse off the deck or swim platform, and its flexibility ensures you can target all areas that need cleaning.

The Mizar New Edge shower is designed for flush installation on horizontal surfaces with minimal space requirements – it needs a cutout of about Ø70 × 40.5 mm for the body, and 88 × 95 mm clearance for the outer frame. Its low-profile, compact design is suitable for small and mid-sized vessels where space is limited. The white lid and casing blend nicely with the deck, and the robust construction ensures long-lasting use. This shower system connects to a single water line (cold water or premixed from your system) and doesn’t require complicated plumbing – an ideal upgrade for boats that weren’t originally equipped with a deck shower.

The New Edge series with Mizar head comes in various configurations to meet different preferences. The standard model features a white lid and 2.5 m PVC hose, but there are versions with a 4 m hose if you need extra reach. Alternative hose types are also available – for instance, a stainless steel braided hose for greater durability or a white nylon hose for a lighter, more flexible option. As with the Boris version, the lid can be selected in multiple finishes: white plastic, chromed, stainless steel, or black, helping you match the shower to your boat’s design. All variants share the same compact dimensions and the push-button shower functionality for efficient water use.

Use Cases & Recommendations:

  • Mid-Sized Boats (5–8 m): Perfect for motorboats and cruisers in this range looking for extra durability and water control. The brass Mizar head stands up to more frequent use and is great for boats with moderate water tank capacity.
  • Crew & Family Friendly: Excellent for rinsing off swimmers or gear – the push-button mechanism allows each crew member to start and stop water flow as needed, crucial when freshwater supply is limited on board.
  • Cockpit or Transom Installation: Suitable for mounting on the cockpit deck or transom area where people climb back aboard after swimming. The momentary action shower head ensures water isn’t left running, keeping the deck drier when not in use.
  • Durability & Safety: The chromed brass head and quality housing provide resistance to impact and vibration in choppy conditions, and the push-button prevents accidental flooding since water stops immediately when released.
  • Customization: Choose a version with a longer hose or different lid finish to suit your vessel’s requirements. For example, a chrome-finish lid complements a modern yacht’s look, while a stainless steel lid offers maximum toughness for long-term use.
