It’s constructed from a special FPT technical polyurethane composite, reinforced with aluminum profiles at critical points, providing excellent strength and flex resistance with no risk of corrosion. The walking surface of the Polybridge II features a built-in anti-slip texture that remains effective even when wet. For additional comfort and style, the manufacturer offers the option to cover the surface with EVA foam decking – available in white, brown, or grey – which gives a soft feel underfoot and can match your yacht’s deck aesthetics. At the bottom end of the gangway, two small wheels with stainless steel housings are integrated. These allow the gangway to roll smoothly on the dock, preventing damage to both the gangway and the dock surface, especially as the boat moves with tides or waves.

A unique feature of this model is its dual pivot mounting system: during installation, you can use a single central pin, which allows the gangplank to swing freely and follow the boat’s movement (useful in choppy conditions), or secure it with two pins for a fixed angle when you prefer maximum stability. In its folded state (about 1.1 m long, 14 cm thick), the Polybridge II takes up very little space – it can fit in a cockpit locker or even a large deck box.
