The Quicksilver 35-8M0093688 is a high-efficiency fuel/water separating filter engineered to Mercury’s OEM specifications to protect your gasoline inboard engine. This filter removes water moisture and fuel-borne debris at the point of entry to the fuel system, safeguarding your fuel pump and injectors from corrosion and clogging. It features a multi-layer polyester/cellulose filter media with phenolic binder for durability and fuel resistance. Replacement is straightforward – simply spin off the old filter and spin on the new one using the included O-ring gaskets to ensure a proper seal. It is recommended to replace this filter annually or every 100 engine hours to maintain peak engine performance and reliability.
