Application & Recommendations: This prop is an ideal choice for boats around 24–30 feet (7–9 m) or those with higher displacement that need extra thrust to get on plane quickly. The Solas Amita 3 15x17 (C4 set) is commonly paired with Volvo Penta DuoProp drives and mid-range engines (around 200 HP) where strong acceleration is prioritized over absolute top speed. Tip: Use this front prop together with the matching 13.25x17 rear prop (right-hand) as a complete set – both propellers are designed to work in tandem for optimal performance. If later you wish to increase top speed at the expense of some acceleration, Solas also offers higher pitch options (19″ and 21″) corresponding to the C5 and C6 sets.
