Unlike some competitors, this Mercury doesn’t require premium fuel – it’s optimized to run on 92 RON regular unleaded without performance loss. The Advanced Range Optimization (ARO) system is at work here as well, squeezing out fuel savings at cruise, and the high-output 85A alternator ensures plenty of power for all onboard electronics.
