Recommended Oil: For optimal performance, use Mercury's recommended 25W-40 Synthetic Blend 4-Stroke Marine Engine Oil.

Capacity: The engine oil capacity is approximately 6.3 quarts (6.0 liters).

Oil Change: Regular oil changes are recommended as per the owner's manual guidelines. The first maintenance usually occurs at the 100-hour mark, at which time the engine oil and oil filter should be changed.
