The Honda BF50DK4 is a 50 HP outboard that delivers top-end power in the midrange class while remaining lightweight and packed with advanced technology. With a displacement of 808 cc (in a 3-cylinder inline configuration), the BF50 offers impressive acceleration and high top speeds for boats in the ~15–20 ft range, yet it remains the lightest engine in this horsepower category.

The BF50 shares the same innovative systems as the BF40: Programmed Fuel Injection (PGM-FI) for instant starts and optimal engine performance, BLAST™ technology for a dramatic surge in torque during throttle punch, and Lean Burn Control to minimize fuel consumption when cruising.
