T70156 Raymarine EV-200 Power Autopilot

Raymarine’s EV-200 Power Pilot is a comprehensive autopilot package designed for medium to large powerboats equipped with hydraulic steering. It delivers confident and precise automatic course-keeping, making it ideal for cruising motor yachts, sportfishing vessels, and other powerboats with single or twin engines and hydraulic steering. With the EV-200 Power, long passages become easier as the autopilot relieves the captain from constant manual steering.

At the heart of the system is the intelligent EV-1 nine-axis sensor core and the ACU-200 actuator control unit, which continuously monitor your vessel’s motion and control the hydraulic pump. The pack also includes Raymarine’s p70Rs autopilot control head, the EV-1 heading sensor, the ACU-200, and all necessary cabling for SeaTalkng/NMEA2000 network integration. The EV-200 is compatible with Raymarine’s 12-volt Type 1 hydraulic pump (for steering cylinder capacities between 80 cc and 230 cc), covering hydraulic systems typically found on boats around 8–12 meters in length. (SKU T70156 is supplied without a pump to allow use of an existing drive unit, while an alternative bundle T70157 includes the Type 1 pump.)

For smaller powerboats (e.g. under 8–9 m), the Raymarine EV-150 Power pilot may be more appropriate, as it is tailored for small to medium vessels. On the other hand, larger yachts with hydraulic steering can step up to the EV-400 Power pilot, engineered for heavy-duty applications. The EV-200 Power is a professional-grade solution that can also modernize an existing system—if you already have a Raymarine Type 1 hydraulic drive, this pack (without drive unit) lets you upgrade to Evolution technology without replacing your pump. This makes the EV-200 an excellent choice for both refitting older autopilot systems and new installations where reliability and performance are paramount.
