Type 1 24V Hydraulic Pump

The Raymarine Type 1 24V hydraulic pump provides powerful and reliable autopilot steering for mid-sized vessels running 24-volt systems. It is designed to drive hydraulic steering setups with cylinder capacities of roughly 80 – 230 cc, covering a wide range of motor yachts and sailing vessels of moderate size.

With 24V operation, the Type 1 pump is optimized for larger boats where the onboard voltage is 24 volts. The higher voltage results in lower current draw for the same power, reducing strain on the electrical system. The pump delivers around 1000 cc/min of hydraulic fluid flow, ensuring quick rudder movements and immediate autopilot response when course adjustments are needed.

The Type 1 (24V) works in tandem with the Raymarine ACU-200 Actuator Control Unit – the controller used in Evolution autopilot systems for bigger boats. The high reliability of this pump ensures steady course holding even in rough seas and strong winds. With a maximum pressure of 50 bar, it easily handles medium-sized hydraulic steering rams. Its rugged build and corrosion-resistant materials guarantee long-lasting performance in the marine environment.
