M81132 Type 2/12V Mechanical Linear Drive Unit (Long Stroke, Raymarine)

The Raymarine Type 2/12V linear drive (long stroke) is the most powerful mechanical drive in Raymarine’s lineup, designed for autopilots on heavy vessels. With a capacity of up to 20,000 kg and an extended stroke of about 450 mm, this model can actuate the rudders of ships with deeper rudder blades and greater tiller travel. The longer rod allows a larger rudder angle range without losing thrust. The peak thrust exceeds 1000 kgf, providing ample power reserves for critical situations.

This drive unit offers:

• Huge operating range: the long stroke is ideal for vessels where rudder travel from hard-over to hard-over exceeds the standard 300 mm – ensuring full course control
• Power for 20-ton vessels: engineered to handle the steering loads of large yachts (~20 m) and small commercial craft, even in heavy sea conditions
