E70150 – Raymarine i60 Wind Pack (Short Arm Wind Transducer)

The Raymarine i60 Wind instrument is a premium wind display designed with sailing yachts in mind. It combines a classic analog 360° wind angle gauge with an integrated digital LCD to show wind speed, delivering both intuitive at-a-glance direction and precise numeric speed information. The large analog dial continuously indicates apparent wind direction relative to the boat, while the LCD window provides the wind speed in knots (including max gust and Beaufort scale readings). When linked to a speed-through-water sensor, the i60 can also compute true wind speed and angle, giving sailors a full picture of wind conditions both apparent and true.

• Analog needle + digital LCD: The i60 Wind offers an easy-to-understand visual: an analog pointer shows the relative wind angle (0°–360° around the boat) and the built-in digital display reports wind speed. This dual-format presentation lets you quickly gauge wind shifts and magnitudes simultaneously.
• True wind calculation: When integrated with a boat speed sensor (e.g., an i50 Speed or Tridata instrument), the system can calculate and display true wind speed and angle (wind relative to ground) in addition to apparent wind. This is invaluable for sail trimming and navigation, as true wind provides insight into current and course-made-good conditions. The instrument also supports wind alarms for high wind speeds or specific wind angles (e.g., off-course alerts), enhancing safety.
• Excellent visibility day or night: The large analog dial is clearly marked, with color-coded indicators for port and starboard close-hauled sectors for quick reference. The LCD portion uses 20 mm tall digits, ensuring you can read wind speed and other data at a glance. Red backlighting on both the dial and LCD enhances night-time visibility without compromising night vision, and brightness can be adjusted (locally or group-dimmed across multiple instruments) for optimal viewing in any condition.
• Seamless network integration: The i60 Wind has dual SeaTalk^ng ports, allowing straightforward daisy-chain connection into your boat’s instrument network. It is SeaTalk^ng / NMEA2000 compatible for sharing wind data with chartplotters, autopilots, and other devices, and it can also interface with older SeaTalk1 systems via an adapter. • Pack includes wind sensor: This pack comes complete with a short-arm masthead wind transducer (Raymarine E22078), suitable for most cruising sailboats and motor vessels. The short arm (300 mm) wind vane installs atop the mast to measure wind speed and direction; its length is ideal for typical mast heights, providing accurate readings away from sail turbulence. A 30 m cable is included to run down the mast to the instrument.
