The Raymarine T110 Wireless Multi Digital Display is part of the Tacktick Micronet range and provides unparalleled flexibility in displaying boat data without any wires. Completely wire-free, this display receives information from compatible wireless transmitters (e.g., a hull transmitter for depth/speed or a masthead wind transmitter) via radio signals and is entirely powered by solar energy – no external power connections or battery replacements required. This means installation is extremely simple – you can mount it wherever it’s most convenient (using screws or brackets) without running cables through your boat’s deck or bulkheads.
- One display, many data options: The T110 can be configured to show any single type of data available in your system. For example, you could set it to display boat speed as a large digital knotmeter, or switch it to depth readings, water temperature, apparent wind angle or speed, compass heading, or any other supported data feed – it’s essentially a multifunction screen where you choose the content. Changing the displayed data is done by cycling through modes or pages, allowing one T110 display to serve multiple roles as needed.
- Solar-powered autonomy: The T110 Multi Display features an integrated solar panel that keeps its internal battery charged. When fully charged, the unit boasts up to 300 hours of operation in complete darkness. In practice, this means it’s self-sustaining – during daylight the solar cells continuously recharge the battery, and at night the instrument draws on its stored energy. There’s no need to wire it into the boat’s electrical system, which not only saves installation time and complexity but also ensures that the instrument continues to function even if your main power is shut down or fails.
- Clear readouts and night use: With its extra-large digits (38 mm tall), the T110 provides outstanding readability even from a distance and a wide viewing angle – a valuable feature in racing situations when crew may need to quickly glance at the display from across the cockpit. The unit offers three levels of backlighting so you can adjust illumination for nighttime sailing – from a dim setting to preserve night vision in total darkness, up to a brighter setting for dusk or low-light conditions. The LCD is designed for high contrast and visibility under bright sun and in cold temperatures, ensuring the data remains easy to read in all weather.
- Rugged and lightweight: Like all Raymarine Wireless instruments, the T110 is completely waterproof, rated submersible to 10 m (approximately 30 feet). This means it can endure heavy rain, spray, and even accidental immersion without damage – perfect for use on an open cockpit bulkhead or even at the mast. At the same time, it’s extremely light – about 230 grams – adding virtually no weight to your boat, which is especially important for racing yachts. You can choose to mount it permanently or use removable brackets; some racers install these displays temporarily during competitions and stow them when not needed, while cruisers may keep them mounted full-time.
- Compatibility and expandability: The T110 operates on the 868 MHz frequency (this model is the European version) and is compatible with all Raymarine Tacktick Micronet wireless transmitters and interfaces. To connect into an existing NMEA2000/SeaTalkng wired network, an optional T122 Wireless Interface is available, which can bridge data from cabled instruments to the wireless displays. Using this and/or additional wireless components, you can build a comprehensive system with zero wiring – for instance, pairing the T110 with a T111 dual-line display and a T112 analog wind display, all solar-powered. With this technology, you obtain full navigation information with minimal installation effort and near-zero maintenance, making it an attractive solution for both performance racers and cruising sailors alike.
