T112-868 – Raymarine Wireless Multi Analog Display (T112 Micronet)

Code:
T112-868

Features

  • Instrument:
    Wireless indicator systems
  • Combined analog instrument with wireless connectivity – displays parameters like wind angle on an analog dial plus digital values (e.g., wind speed) in one unit.
  • Solar-powered – runs on solar energy with ~300 hours of autonomy in darkness; no wired power or battery replacements needed.
  • Receives data wirelessly (e.g., from a T120 wind transmitter) via the Tacktick Micronet network – allows installation with no cables down the mast or across the deck.
  • Unique multi-format display: combines an analog pointer (for example, wind direction) with digital 14 mm digits for additional info (such as wind speed or VMG).
  • Rugged, submersible to 10 m and lightweight (~230 g); 3 backlight levels for night use. Ideal for showing wind data prominently (mast, cockpit) without complex installation.
Price: €68309 133601лв.

The Raymarine T112 Wireless Multi Analog Display brings together the benefits of analog gauges and digital displays in one device, eliminating the need for wires through its wireless technology. This instrument is most commonly used to display wind information – for instance, showing wind direction on an analog needle (like a traditional wind indicator) while simultaneously providing a digital readout of wind speed on a small LCD within the dial. With the T112, you get the intuitive feel for wind shifts that an analog scale provides, as well as precise numeric values for the details.

  • Analog + digital indication: The heart of the T112 is an analog 360° dial with a pointer that can indicate, for example, the apparent wind angle relative to the boat’s bow or any other parameter in analog form. At the same time, the digital display portion (usually at the bottom of the dial) gives you a numeric measurement – in wind mode, this is typically the wind speed in knots (or m/s). In a close-hauled wind mode, the analog scale can be switched to a magnified 20°–60° sector for precision when sailing upwind, while the digital readout can show maximum wind speed, VMG to wind, or other relevant data. Thus, the T112 serves as a multi-functional wind instrument, combining instantaneous visual feedback with detailed measurements.
  • Wireless integration: The T112 connects wirelessly to the Raymarine Tacktick wind transmitter (e.g., model T120) or to a wireless hull transmitter/interface that relays data for wind, depth, speed, etc., to the displays. There is no need for any wiring down the mast – this eliminates the potential failure points and hassles of traditional wired masthead units. Installing the wind sensor and T112 is greatly simplified, and reliability is improved since there are no cables or connectors subject to flexing and corrosion. The wireless range is sufficient for typical yachts; the T112 will maintain a solid link even on taller masts of larger sailboats.
  • Solar-powered: Like the other instruments in the Micronet range, the T112 features a solar panel that keeps its rechargeable battery topped up. On a full charge, the unit can run for roughly 300 hours in the dark, which covers many days of sailing without sunlight. In practice, under normal usage with daylight exposure, you will rarely, if ever, run out of battery. There’s no need to run power cables up the mast or draw from the boat’s electrical system – one less complication during installation and less drain on your onboard batteries.
  • Mounting and use: The T112 is typically mounted in a prominent location – for instance, on the mast (at the mast base or on a mast bracket at eye level), or at the forward end of the cockpit – where both crew and helm can easily see the wind information. The device is light and compact, so it can be attached with bolts or special mast brackets (Raymarine offers mast mount kits for these displays). Thanks to its waterproof construction (submersible to 10 m), you don’t have to worry about leaving it exposed to the elements. In combination with other wireless displays (like the T110/T111) and transmitters, you can build a complete system – the T112 can serve as the primary wind indicator, complemented by digital displays for other data.
  • Advanced wind modes: The T112 can show both standard apparent (relative) wind and true wind, if the system also has boat speed data available. The analog dial can display “close-hauled” expanded sectors (to allow precise trimming when sailing extremely upwind), and the digital portion can present additional metrics such as VMG to wind, headers/lifts (wind shifts), and more, which are valuable for tactical racing. These capabilities make the T112 extremely useful for regattas, where subtle changes in wind must be monitored closely, as well as for cruising, where having a clear understanding of wind conditions contributes to safer and more efficient sail handling.
