Raymarine Quantum Q24C CHIRP Radome (Data + Power 15m Cable)

Code:
T70266

Features

  • Radar:
    Quantum

The Quantum Q24C with a 15m combined cable provides extra reach for larger vessels or installations that require a longer cable run. You get all the features of the Quantum CHIRP radar – 18″ radome, 24 nm range, Wi-Fi/wired operation – along with a ready 15-meter “2-in-1” cable (power + data) to quickly tie into your onboard network.

  • Comes with 15 m Y-cable (power and RayNet data) – ideal for sailing yachts with tall masts or larger boats where the radar is far from the electronics
  • 18″ Quantum CHIRP radome: 20W, 24 nm range, ~6 m minimum; excellent resolution (ATX) and small target detection
  • Retains Wi-Fi compatibility – can operate wirelessly if needed, or as a backup connection method
  • Low power and weight – no heavy burden on the vessel’s power or structure (17W, 5.6 kg)
  • Easy setup: no extra cable purchases needed; kit includes everything required to install even in distant radar locations
Price: €2,55340 499402лв.

The Quantum Q24C with a 15 m combined cable (SKU T70266) extends installation possibilities, intended for larger vessels or complex cable routing scenarios where the standard 10 m cable might not suffice. With this package, the radome can be mounted high on a mast, pole, or at a significant distance from the main nav station without the need for additional splices or extensions – the 15-meter combined cable covers the run.

As with the 10 m version, the single-cable (Y-type) solution included simplifies installation – only one cable needs to be run, carrying both power and data to the network. This is especially useful on sailing yachts with tall masts; for example, if the radar is 12 m up the mast, a 15 m cable can reach down to the nav locker with no intermediate joints. Similarly, on longer motor yachts where the radar arch is far from the helm electronics, this cable provides the length needed for a direct connection.

Functionally, the Quantum Q24C 15m is no different from other Quantum radars: it’s the same 18″ CHIRP radome with all the advantages – instant turn-on, high resolution, low power draw, Wi-Fi capability, etc. With its ATX technology, the radar reliably separates close targets and yields a crisp picture on the display, which is critical when sailing around busy harbors or intricate coastlines. MARPA/ARPA functions are supported when connected to an appropriate sensor – up to 10 selected targets can be tracked for course and speed, adding another layer of safety when navigating in traffic.

Why a 15 m cable? If your vessel demands longer-than-standard runs – e.g., you have a 45-foot yacht and want the radar mounted at the masthead or on a dedicated aft pole – having a 15 m cable in the bundle saves time and money. There’s no need to purchase a separate extended cable; there are also no junctions that could potentially weaken the signal or introduce a point of failure along the way. Raymarine anticipated these scenarios, hence the T70266 package comes from the factory with a longer cable that’s tested and guaranteed for optimal radar performance.

Use case examples: Large catamarans and keelboats where mast heights are tall and distances are big; 40+ foot motor yachts where the nav gear (MFDs, network switches) is far forward at the helm, and the radar sits on a flybridge or radar arch far aft. In such cases, this bundle makes the installer’s job easier and reduces the need for extra connectors and cable runs.

With the Quantum Q24C and 15 m combined cable, you get the full power of Raymarine’s modern radar without being limited by installation distance. The result is a clean, reliable setup on any boat – from compact to large – and confidence that you have the best radar picture possible, wherever you choose to place the antenna.
