Raymarine RV-312 / RV-320 RealVision 3D Plastic Transducer

Raymarine’s RV-312/320 RealVision 3D transducers provide an incredibly lifelike three-dimensional view of the underwater world, revealing structure, bottom contours, and fish in stunning detail. Each plastic thru-hull transducer is a 4-channel, wide-spectrum CHIRP sensor that combines DownVision™, SideVision™, high-frequency CHIRP targeting, and RealVision™ 3D sonar in a single unit. The transducers feature an internal Attitude and Heading Reference System (AHRS), which automatically stabilizes the 3D sonar imagery by compensating for vessel motion. This means you’ll enjoy a clear and accurate model of the underwater environment without distortion from waves or boat maneuvers. A built-in fast-response temperature sensor is also integrated for quick and precise water temperature readings.

The RV-312 and RV-320 are provided as a split pair of through-hull transducers – one for the port side and one for the starboard side. RV-312 has a 12° tilt element optimized for hull deadrise angles of roughly 6°–18°, while RV-320 features a 20° tilt for steeper hulls of about 14°–26° deadrise. This configuration ensures the sonar beams shoot straight down on deep-V hulls, eliminating blind spots beneath the vessel. Thanks to their through-hull installation, these transducers maintain bottom contact and fish targets even at speed, without the turbulence or aeration that can affect transom-mounted models.

Built with rugged plastic housings, the RV-312/320 transducers are ideal for fiberglass or metal hulls (plastic housing prevents galvanic corrosion on metal boats). The nearly flush design protrudes only ~5mm outside the hull, minimizing drag and making it safe for trailering. (Note: For wooden hulls, Raymarine offers bronze transducer options like the RV-212/220, as wooden hull expansion could damage a plastic transducer seal.)

The RV-312/320 transducer pair interfaces seamlessly with Raymarine’s RealVision 3D sonar systems. It is fully compatible with Raymarine Axiom RV and Axiom+ multifunction displays, the Axiom Pro RVX models, and the RVX1000 sonar module. This allows you to easily identify structure and locate fish with life-like clarity on your Raymarine displays. By combining advanced 3D CHIRP sonar technology with gyro-stabilization, the RV-312/320 gives serious anglers and boaters a dramatic advantage in understanding what lies below their boat in three dimensions.
