Raymarine’s RV-200 Bronze All-In-One Through-Hull Transducer is engineered for inboard and outboard powerboats that demand high-performance sonar and robust build quality. The RV-200 allows you to easily identify structures and locate fish with the life-like clarity of RealVision 3D™ sonar. Inside its compact body, the RV-200 packs four sonar channels: it’s a 4-channel wide-spectrum CHIRP transducer featuring photorealistic DownVision™, side-scanning SideVision™, a high-frequency CHIRP conical channel for fish targeting, and immersive RealVision 3D™ sonar. With all these technologies combined, you get a complete 360° view under your boat using a single transducer.

The RV-200 has an internal AHRS gyro-stabilization system, which automatically steadies the sonar imagery by compensating for boat motion. Even in choppy seas or during sharp turns, the 3D sonar images remain clear and accurate, effectively filtering out distortions caused by waves, swells, or vessel maneuvers. Additionally, the transducer includes a fast-response temperature sensor that delivers immediate and precise water temperature data—valuable for finding thermal clines or fish-attracting temperature breaks.

One of the standout features of the RV-200 is its rugged bronze housing. Bronze construction makes it ideal for fiberglass or wooden hulls, providing strength and durability for long-term use. The transducer’s low-profile design mounts flush to the hull with only ~5 mm protrusion, resulting in minimal drag and almost no risk of inducing cavitation or turbulence. This near-flush installation means better performance at speed (the RV-200 can hold bottom and targets even above 30 knots) and easy trailering of your boat without a large fairing block to worry about. (For metal hulls like aluminum or steel, a plastic or stainless steel transducer is recommended instead, to avoid galvanic corrosion issues.)

With a 0° offset (flat) element, the RV-200 is optimized for hulls with 0° to ~6° deadrise (essentially flat-bottom or slight V hulls). It provides a straight-down view and maximum sonar coverage for these hull types, without needing a tilted element. The RV-200 directly interfaces with Raymarine’s latest sonar-equipped systems – it is plug-and-play compatible with Axiom+ RV and Axiom Pro RVX multifunction displays, as well as the RVX1000 CHIRP sonar module.
