Raymarine RV-300 RealVision 3D Plastic Thru-Hull Transducer (0°)

Raymarine’s RV-300 Plastic All-In-One Thru-Hull Transducer lets you view the underwater world in three dimensions with ease. Optimized for vessels with flat-bottom or slight deadrise hulls (0° to ~6°), the RV-300 combines multiple sonar functions in one compact unit. It is a 4-channel CHIRP transducer – incorporating a wide-spectrum CHIRP depth sounder, DownVision™ for photo-like bottom imagery, SideVision™ for wide lateral scanning, and RealVision™ 3D for a true three-dimensional view. All four sonar channels operate simultaneously, feeding rich underwater data to your Raymarine display.

Equipped with an internal AHRS gyro-stabilization system, the RV-300 automatically compensates for boat motion and keeps the sonar imagery steady. Even when seas are rough or the boat is turning, you’ll see a clear, accurate 3D picture of structure and fish, without the blur or distortion. The transducer also features a fast-response water temperature sensor for instant, precise temp readings to help locate thermoclines or fish-attracting temperature breaks.

The RV-300’s low-profile plastic housing is designed for performance and durability. Plastic is recommended for fiberglass, aluminum, or steel hulls (it isolates the transducer electrically to prevent galvanic issues on metal hulls). Installation is through-hull and nearly flush – the unit protrudes only about 5 mm (0.2") beyond the hull, reducing drag and avoiding any external fairing block. This ensures minimal impact on your boat’s performance and makes the RV-300 suitable for high-speed and trailered boats. (For wooden hulls, a bronze equivalent transducer is preferable, due to expansion/contraction of wood potentially affecting a plastic housing.)

The RV-300 is a 600W transducer with an attached 8 m (26’) cable, and an extension cable is provided for convenience in split-pair installations. It connects directly to Raymarine Axiom RV/Axiom+ multi-function displays or Axiom Pro RVX units with built-in RealVision sonar. It can also interface with Raymarine’s CP370 digital sonar module (50/200 kHz traditional sonar) or the external RVX1000 3D sonar module, making it a versatile choice for upgrading existing systems. With the RV-300 RealVision 3D transducer, you gain a comprehensive underwater view – from sharp high-resolution bottom structure to a full 3D model of fish and terrain – all without needing multiple holes in your hull, just one advanced transducer.
