P58 Depth/Speed/Temp Transom Transducer (for Raymarine A/C/E series)

Code:
A102138

The Raymarine P58 is a reliable transom-mount Tri-ducer that provides depth, speed, and water temperature readings all in one unit. Ideal for smaller to mid-sized boats, this 600W dual-frequency transducer features a 50/200 kHz sonar for both deep and shallow waters, a built-in kick-up bracket to prevent damage, and an optimized design for accurate data even at speed.

  • 3-in-1 sensor: measures depth, boat speed, and water temperature in a single thru-transom housing (Tri-ducer)
  • Dual-frequency 50/200 kHz, 600W sonar: wide 45° beam @50 kHz for depth up to ~1200 ft, and narrow 11° beam @200 kHz for detailed tracking up to ~700 ft
  • Kick-up transom bracket: protects the transducer from impact and adjusts for transom angles 3°–20° for optimal beam alignment
  • Recessed water-flow channel: improved paddlewheel accuracy for speed readings by channeling water flow efficiently
  • 8-pin DSM connector: direct plug-and-play with Raymarine CP370, legacy DSM300/30 modules and A-Series chartplotter/fishfinders (A50D/A57D/A70D)
Price: €11095 21700лв.

The Raymarine P58 transom transducer is a versatile three-in-one sensor that combines depth sounding, speed-through-water, and temperature sensing into a single compact unit. This makes it an ideal choice for many trailerable and center-console boats where space and simplicity are paramount. The P58 operates on dual frequencies – 50 kHz and 200 kHz – to give you the best of both worlds for sonar coverage. At 50 kHz, it emits a wide 45° beam that can reach depths of up to approximately 1,200 ft (365 m), providing strong bottom tracking in deep or murky waters. At 200 kHz, it uses a narrower ~11° beam for higher-resolution detail and fish targeting down to about 700 ft (213 m). This dual-frequency capability allows the P58 to deliver reliable readings whether you’re probing deep offshore drop-offs or scanning shallow lakes.

The P58’s design incorporates several innovations to enhance performance. It features a recessed water-flow channel across the face of the transducer, which directs water smoothly over the paddlewheel speed sensor. This results in improved accuracy of speed through water readings by minimizing turbulence at the paddlewheel. The transducer mounts on the transom with a specially engineered kick-up bracket that will swing up and release the transducer if it strikes debris or the bottom, helping prevent damage. This bracket also accommodates transom deadrise angles from 3° to 20°, ensuring you can install the P58 at the correct angle for optimum sonar performance. Achieving the proper beam orientation is critical for accurate depth readings, and P58’s adjustable bracket makes that easy.

Installation and integration of the P58 are straightforward. It comes with an 8-pin “DSM-style” plug already attached, which connects directly to Raymarine’s sonar modules like the DSM250/30/300 or the current CP370 ClearPulse sonar module. It is also compatible (either directly or via adapter) with many Raymarine chartplotter/fishfinder combos, including the older A-series displays (A50D, A57D, A70D), as well as C-Series Widescreen and E-Series Classic units that utilized the DSM sonar systems. If connecting to newer MFDs with built-in sonar (such as Axiom or Element), an optional adapter cable can be used to interface the P58.

With the P58 transom transducer, you get dependable depth, bottom structure, speed, and temperature data from a single device. When properly installed, the P58 provides solid bottom tracking and accurate readings even at speeds over 30 knots, thanks to its hydrodynamic shape and secure transom mounting. Constructed from durable urethane, the P58 is suitable for use on fiberglass, wood, or metal hulls. It’s a proven, cost-effective solution for anglers and boaters looking to upgrade their older Raymarine fishfinders or add multi-sensor capabilities to their system. The P58’s combination of ease of installation, multiple data outputs, and robust performance makes it a go-to transducer for many Raymarine users.
