Raymarine Long Arm Masthead Wind Transducer (600mm) for i60, iTC-5, ST60/ST60+
- Provides accurate measurement of relative wind speed and direction via a reliable wired sensor mounted at the masthead. When combined with other sensors (boat speed, compass, etc.), the wind data can be used to calculate true wind speed and direction, as well as other advanced sailing metrics for navigation.
- The extended 600mm “Long Arm” design makes this wind transducer ideal for high-performance and racing sailboats. The longer arm positions the wind cups and vane further above the sail plan, minimizing updraft interference and yielding steadier, more accurate readings even when sailing close-hauled.
- Durable anodized aluminum and UV-stabilized plastic construction ensures long service life in harsh marine environments. The package includes a masthead mounting base and a 50-meter (165 ft) cable, facilitating a straightforward installation at the mast top without the need for additional extensions.
- The sensor is fully compatible with Raymarine i60 Wind displays and the iTC-5 transducer converter module, as well as legacy ST60/ST60+ series instruments. This allows seamless integration into both modern SeaTalkNG networks and existing analog instrument systems on older vessels.
- The wind vane’s pointer and cups are user-replaceable (replacement part #A28167), making maintenance simple and cost-effective by allowing worn or damaged parts to be swapped out without replacing the entire transducer.
