Raymarine P79 Plastic In-Hull Depth Transducer (2°-22° adjustable) for i40/i50

Code:
E26001-PZ
  • Adjustable in-hull depth transducer P79 (200 kHz) for boats with solid fiberglass hulls.
  • Accommodates hull deadrise angles from 2° to 22° via an adjustable mounting cup, ensuring a vertical sonar beam and accurate readings.
  • Requires no drilling of holes below the waterline – the sensor is epoxied inside the hull, with no parts protruding outside the boat.
  • Recommended for planing powerboats (up to ~25 ft), racing sailboats, RIBs, and trailerable boats, where avoiding external transducers reduces drag and risk of damage.
  • Compatible with Raymarine i40/i50, iTC-5, and legacy ST40/50/60 instruments – includes a 9 m cable with spade connectors for direct hookup.
Price: €25513 49899лв.

  • The P79 is a plastic no-hole (in-hull) depth transducer designed for easy installation and reliable performance at speed. Rather than drilling through the hull, the P79 is mounted inside the boat, transmitting and receiving sonar signals through the solid fiberglass hull bottom.
  • The transducer’s unique adjustable base allows it to compensate for hull deadrise (bottom angle) from 2° to 22°. Using the built-in alignment marks on the housing, the installer sets the angle to match the hull’s slope so that the active element inside is oriented perfectly vertical. This ensures the echo-sounder beam points straight down, providing precise depth readings comparable to those from a through-hull transducer.
  • This no-drill design eliminates any risk of hull leaks and removes external protrusions. It is especially beneficial for fast boats – the P79 can hold the bottom reading on the display at speeds over 30 knots, since there is no cavitation or air bubble interference that an external transducer might encounter.
  • The sensor is intended for solid fiberglass hulls up to ~16 mm (5/8″) thick. It can also be used on aluminum hulls less than 3.8 mm thick by bonding it directly to the metal (care must be taken to achieve a proper bond). Note: As an in-hull transducer, the P79 does not measure water temperature because it does not have direct water contact.
  • Raymarine offers the P79 in multiple configurations – the E26001-PZ model (200 kHz with spade connectors) is aimed at instrument systems. It connects easily to the analog depth inputs of ST40/50/60 series instruments, to i40/i50 displays, or through the iTC-5 interface into a SeaTalkNG network and i70 multifunction displays. The package includes the mounting base for bonding, quick-set epoxy, a 9 m cable, and detailed installation instructions for a trouble-free setup.
