Raymarine M260 1kW In-Hull Transducer (50/200 kHz)

Code:
A66089

Features

  • Mounting:
    Hull-mounted transducers
  • Fishfinder:
    CP370
  • High-performance in-hull (no-hole) Raymarine M260 transducer with 1 kW power, dual-frequency 50/200 kHz operation for depth sounding.
  • Contains a large 200 kHz ceramic element (88 mm diameter) for detailed imaging and a seven-element 50 kHz array for excellent deep-water scanning.
  • Installs inside the hull using a special in-hull tank that is bonded to the hull and filled with fluid – no thru-hull holes and zero leak risk.
  • Delivers outstanding clarity and depth range: narrow ~6° beam at 200 kHz for precise target separation, and a broad 50 kHz beam reaching beyond 300 m for deep detection.
  • Equipped with an 11-pin connector directly compatible with Raymarine CP370 and CP570 CHIRP sonar modules (and older DSM units); can be adapted to other fishfinder systems via optional cables.

  • The M260 is a top-tier in-hull sonar transducer from Airmar/Raymarine that delivers up to 1 kW of power without requiring any holes in the hull. It is favored by serious anglers who demand high-end fishfinder performance but want to avoid drilling through their boat’s hull.
  • The M260’s design incorporates separate elements for the two frequencies: a single large 200 kHz ceramic element with a narrow beam (~6°) that provides extremely high resolution and excellent fish target separation, and a cluster of seven 50 kHz elements working together with a broader beam (~19°) for superior detection in deep water. This combination enables obtaining detailed information in shallow water while still reliably scanning deep bottoms.
  • Installing the M260 requires no hull penetration – the kit includes a special in-hull tank (mounting box) that is securely bonded to the inside of the hull’s bilge. Once installed, the tank is filled with a non-freezing fluid (e.g., propylene glycol) and the transducer module is inserted into it. This fluid medium ensures optimal transmission of the sonar pulses through the hull into the surrounding water.
  • The M260 is intended for solid fiberglass hulls and can maintain bottom lock at speeds above 30 knots, thanks to its internal mounting that eliminates disturbances from water flow. Its high power allows it to reach depths of approximately 1000 m (over 3,000 ft) in optimal conditions on the 50 kHz channel, while on 200 kHz it covers shallower depths but with extremely good image detail and target clarity.
  • This transducer is fitted with an 11-pin “DSM style” connector that plugs directly into sonar modules such as the Raymarine CP370 (digital sounder) and CP570 (dual-channel CHIRP module). It is also compatible with older DSM300/DSM30 units. With optional adapter cables, the M260 can be integrated with fishfinder systems from other manufacturers as well. As part of Raymarine’s high-performance transducer lineup, the M260 is engineered for reliability in harsh offshore conditions and comes backed by a factory warranty to ensure peace of mind.
