- The B765LH is a dual-band CHIRP transducer that combines both low-frequency and high-frequency elements in a single bronze thru-hull housing. It’s designed for Raymarine’s modern CHIRP sonar modules, providing anglers with a broad spectrum of frequencies to explore both deep waters and detailed structures beneath the boat.
- The low-frequency channel (Low CHIRP ~40-75 kHz) operates at roughly 300 W and uses an array of ceramics capable of reaching approximately 1000-1200 ft (300-350 m) deep. The wide beam of the low band is excellent for revealing bottom contours and marking larger targets in deep water.
- The high-frequency channel (High CHIRP ~130-210 kHz) runs at about 600 W and yields a narrower beam (around 15° down to 9° across its range), which ensures outstanding target separation and clear depiction of smaller fish and structures. The high band covers depths up to ~600-700 ft (~200 m) with very high image resolution.
- The B765LH comes with a high-performance fairing block – a hydrodynamic element mounted on the hull to hold the transducer at the correct angle relative to water flow. This greatly enhances performance at speed by reducing turbulence noise and allowing the transducer to maintain solid bottom contact at 30+ knots.
- The bronze construction makes this transducer extremely durable. It is suitable for installation on fiberglass and wooden hulls (for metal hulls, a proper isolation kit must be used to prevent galvanic corrosion). The B765LH is equipped with an 11-pin CHIRP connector that plugs directly into Raymarine CP470 and CP570 sonar modules, as well as Axiom Pro RVX combined units (or other compatible systems, with an adapter if required). With the B765LH installed, your boat is ready for virtually any fishing scenario – from inshore trolling to deep offshore fishing – with optimal coverage throughout the water column.
