This high-quality double shackle swivel is designed to keep your anchoring or mooring setup free of twists. Thanks to its 360° rotating design, chains and ropes can spin freely as your boat swings with wind or current, without creating dangerous kinks or tension. The entire connector is made of marine-grade AISI 316 stainless steel, meaning it resists corrosion even with constant exposure to saltwater. The two opposing shackle jaws with screw pins allow for secure attachment to various gear – for example, one end to your anchor and the other to your anchor chain. This prevents the anchor from unscrewing or the chain from snarling as the boat rotates around its mooring. The swivel is compact yet incredibly strong, rated for high working loads according to its size.

  • 6 mm size: The smallest model, suitable for dinghies, small fishing boats, or buoys. Recommended for anchors up to ~5 kg and 6 mm chain. Safe working load around 0.15 ton (150 kg). Ideal for light-duty uses such as attaching a small anchor to a canoe line or securing a float – it keeps the line from twisting even as the float or small boat moves.
  • 8 mm size: A mid-size swivel for a wide range of uses – appropriate for boats ~5–6 m with ~5–8 kg anchors and 8 mm chain. Handles loads up to ~0.30 ton (300 kg). Commonly used to connect anchor and chain on medium boats or to secure mooring buoys, allowing the boat to pivot freely around the buoy without tangling the line.
  • 10 mm size: A robust swivel for larger boats (~7–9 m). Can be paired with ~10–15 kg anchors and 10 mm chain. Working load up to ~0.50 ton (500 kg). This makes it reliable for anchoring systems on bigger yachts or for towing inflatables (e.g., a big banana boat or water toys) without the tow line twisting up.
  • 13 mm size: The largest model, intended for yachts and heavy-duty conditions. Suitable for big vessels 10+ meters, anchors >15 kg and 12–13 mm chain. Handles up to ~1.00 ton (1000 kg). It’s used in professional setups for permanent mooring buoys (so the buoy and boat can rotate on the anchor line), or for emergency towing where maximum strength and reliability are required.
  • Versatility & safety: Regardless of size, each swivel greatly enhances safety by preventing line twist that could lead to loosening knots or sudden line slack. This is especially important in scuba diving with marker buoys (your dive flag buoy line won’t tangle) and in mooring – your boat can swing freely around its anchor without putting stress on the chain or dislodging the anchor from the seabed.
