For example, a ~3.3 m inflatable with two people will see a notable improvement with a 6HP compared to a 4-5HP engine. For sailors, a 6HP is often the preferred choice for an auxiliary motor – powerful enough to control a sailboat in harbors or calm conditions, yet still easily removable when not needed.
