Installation is very straightforward – the vertical mount design allows you to attach it to any flat vertical surface (hull or cabin side) with just two screws. All necessary mounting hardware is included, and the unit comes pre-fitted with a 12V/10W halogen bulb in its socket. Once mounted, you simply connect the two wires to your boat’s 12V electrical system. If desired, the halogen bulb can be replaced with a compatible LED bulb for even lower power draw (though the included halogen is already energy-efficient with minimal heat output).

Using this green side light significantly enhances safety during night voyages or in low-visibility conditions. The bright green beam clearly marks your vessel’s starboard side, helping oncoming boats determine your orientation and adhere to the proper right-of-way rules.
