Compared to the standard 130x90 mm set, this model’s base is larger, which provides (a) a stronger bond to the boat due to increased surface area, and (b) better distribution of rowing forces, which protects the boat’s material.

Reinforced Construction: The oar lock on this model is equipped with a brass pivot pin that connects the two halves of the clamp and the base. Brass is chosen for its durability and corrosion resistance; it withstands repeated bending and lateral forces without deforming. The clamp itself is made of tough plastic engineered to take high pressure.
