Application: You can install this D-ring on the stern of your dinghy as a tow point for pulling the boat or towing water toys (e.g. banana boat, tube rider). It’s equally useful on the bow or sides as a tie-down for dock lines when mooring, or as an attachment anchor for gear and luggage. The stainless D-ring withstands significant tensile forces, while the flexible PVC pad conforms to the tube and absorbs stress, protecting your inflatable’s fabric.

Installation & Compatibility: The base is made of high-quality PVC, compatible with the tubes of most PVC inflatable boats. For proper adhesion:

Thoroughly clean the boat surface and the underside of the patch where it will be glued.
Apply a suitable two-part PVC adhesive evenly to both the patch and the boat surface.
After the adhesive becomes tacky (per glue instructions), press the D-ring patch firmly onto the desired spot, pushing out any air bubbles. Allow it to cure undisturbed for the recommended time (usually about 24 hours).

Once installed, inspection is key: ensure the entire edge of the patch is bonded with no gaps. A correctly applied D-ring patch provides a trustworthy tie-down point that won’t peel off under strain, giving you confidence when towing or securing your boat.
