Swivel Rope Ring Base, Stainless Steel – 66 x 45 mm

Code:
00321-2

A large heavy-duty swiveling ring base (66x45 mm) made of stainless steel. This robust base provides a secure attachment point for ropes on larger boats or more demanding applications, allowing the ring to freely rotate according to the direction of pull. With a breaking load of around 2700 kg, it’s built to withstand extreme conditions and to offer flexibility during mooring, towing, or securing heavy loads.

  • High-grade stainless steel – resists corrosion and heavy use in marine environments
  • Enlarged 66x45 mm size – provides a wider base and stability when mounted
  • Swiveling ring – eye tilts and rotates, following the rope’s movement without strain
  • ~2700 kg strength – suitable for bigger boats, yachts, and high-load scenarios
  • Ideal for mooring & loading – allows lines to accommodate angle changes (e.g. with waves or shifting loads)

The large 66x45 mm swivel rope base is designed for high-load use and larger vessels. Like the smaller model, it is crafted from durable stainless steel, ensuring longevity and safety even in saltwater and under continuous stress. The larger base dimensions (66x45 mm) allow forces to be spread over a wider area when mounted, providing extra strength and stability. The heavy-duty ring is hinged to the base and is larger in diameter and thickness on this model, which translates to a higher load capacity – approximately 2700 kg (breaking load).

This swiveling ring is an excellent solution for mooring medium to large boats (for example, 6–8+ meter vessels), where lines need to accommodate the vessel’s motion relative to the dock or buoy. In waves or changing tides, the ring will tilt and rotate to relieve strain on the rope and fasteners. It’s also very useful for securing heavy cargo on deck or in the hold – for instance, strapping down large crates, equipment, or machinery that may shift slightly. When towing another vessel or object (like a buoy or dive platform), this base provides flexibility between the two points, reducing the risk of breakage. The rugged construction also makes it suitable for fixed installations – such as part of a pontoon mooring system – where high loads are constantly at play.
