The light source is a powerful 10W LED operating at 12V, which emits a bright warm-white glow suitable for both general illumination and tasks like reading charts, working, or cooking in the galley. Unlike old halogen lamps, this LED produces very little heat and consumes significantly less power – a crucial advantage when managing limited onboard electrical resources.
