Quicksilver Storage Seal is a heavy-duty fogging oil spray designed to protect engine internals during seasonal or long-term storage. When sprayed, it leaves a sticky oil film on cylinders and components, shielding them from rust, corrosion, and dry starts when it’s time to fire up the engine again after storage.

Thick fogging oil in an aerosol can with an extension tube for easy spraying into the intake or directly into cylinders.

Quicksilver Storage Seal is specially formulated to “coat” your engine with oil protection before winter or any long downtime. When sprayed into a running engine, it produces a dense oily fog that permeates all cylinders and clings to metal surfaces. The result is a long-lasting barrier against corrosion, so that when it’s time to start up again, the engine’s internals are nearly as well-preserved as when you left them.

Simple Procedure: With the engine idling, gradually spray Storage Seal into the air intake (through the air filter or carburetor). The oily fog will start to choke the engine – continue spraying until the engine stalls, indicating the internals are thoroughly coated. (Alternatively, for some engines you can spray directly into each cylinder through the spark plug holes.)
