This adapter allows a boat or camper equipped with a 32A shore power plug to connect to a regular Schuko outlet (household socket). In this way, you can supply your onboard systems from mains power when a 32A supply isn’t available. Note: Since a standard Schuko outlet is limited to 16A, this adapter is intended for lower-power loads – e.g., keeping a battery charger, lights, or basic systems running – rather than drawing a full 32A load of a large yacht. The adapter is ~0.3 m long and made of high-quality cable and connectors to ensure a secure connection. The 32A female coupling (blue) features a protective lid, and the Schuko male plug fits any EU wall socket.
- Flexibility: Lets you maintain your boat in “maintenance mode” or run basic systems via a household outlet – convenient during off-season storage on land or when doing work on the boat at home.
- Safety: The design adheres to electrical standards – if a load above ~16A is attempted, the Schuko circuit’s breaker/fuse will trip, protecting your wiring. This minimizes the risk of overload or overheating.
- Usage: Simply plug the Schuko end into an available 230V outlet, and connect the 32A female end to your boat’s shore power cord. The connection is well-sealed (IP55) to guard against splashes and moisture while in use.
- Quality: The adapter’s heavy-duty rubber cable resists twisting, and the connectors are built for longevity. Its compact size makes it easy to keep on board as part of your essential gear for whenever you might need to tap into regular mains power.
