This universal steering wheel hub kit is designed to provide a reliable link between your boat’s steering shaft and steering wheel. Using a standard 3/4″ taper, the hub fits most common mechanical steering systems and allows mounting of a wide range of wheels. In particular, this hub is the recommended accessory for EVAL’s Seamaster polyurethane wheels (for example, codes 02056-WD and 03901-WH), giving them a stable mounting base.

Made from high-quality metal with a protective coating, the hub offers excellent corrosion resistance and long-term durability in saltwater conditions. The kit includes the necessary mounting hardware (bolts and nuts) to secure the wheel firmly and accurately to the tapered shaft. Installation is straightforward: simply slide the hub onto the 3/4″ tapered helm shaft and tighten it with the provided bolts. With this kit, you can confidently install a new steering wheel or replace an old/damaged hub, restoring smooth and safe steering for your vessel.
