The Ø35 mm spare oar blade is built for the larger, more powerful oars used on boats of greater size and weight. With its impressive 60 cm length, this blade scoops more water, increasing the effectiveness of each stroke – crucial when carrying more passengers or cargo, as well as in rescue operations. The ABS material is reinforced to handle the stress of intensive rowing and is also impact-resistant in case of collision with underwater objects. The universal design fits standard Ø35 mm shafts, including those from EVAL and other manufacturers.
- For Large Boats & Rescue Craft: This blade is the preferred spare for oars on boats over 3.5–4 meters, where extra power is required. For example, multi-person rowboats or lifeboats on ships often have Ø35 mm oars – this part will restore their functionality if damaged.
- Increased Thrust: The longer blade achieves a greater "bite" in the water, meaning you’ll cover more distance with fewer strokes. In rough seas or strong currents, the larger surface of the blade gives you an advantage in controlling the boat.
- Secure Attachment: The blade is designed with a solid bolt hole – once mounted, it sits tightly in place with no wobble. This ensures that under heavy strain it won’t twist or loosen on the shaft, maintaining the integrity of your oar assembly.
- Replacement & Compatibility: The replacement process is similar to smaller blades – remove the old blade, clean out the socket, and install the new one. It is compatible with EVAL model 03208 (which indicates available colors: G – grey, B – black/blue). Choose a color to your liking or for better visibility in the water.
- Longevity: Despite its size, this spare blade remains relatively light, which eases rowing and is gentler on the shaft (less inertial stress). At the same time, it withstands prolonged heavy use without losing flexibility or breaking – an investment in the safety and efficiency of your boat.
